hiall new poster here i have a 2005 A4 2.0 tdi (BLB) had the red "low oil pressure" warning come up so parked and had car recovered to a friends garage. following every post online pointing at the oil pump we stripped car down removed oil pump but all is well and was actually upgraded in 2012 at a total cost of £1700 (thankfully before my
Thats why when you see the oil pressure warning light go on, you have to stop driving, because the pressure could be too high. The oil pressure sensor itself has been known to fail more often on the Audi A6. Use a wrench to remove the sensor, then connect the new sensor in place. Be sure the rubber boot is on the new sensor properly. Theres plenty of threads regarding oil pressure issues in the 2.0T engines in the B7 A4's, but i couldn't really find one that seemed appropriate for my issue. SO the problem I'm having is that my oil pressure light (red oil can in the middle of the cluster display) is coming on intermittently, complete with the annoying three beeps. At first i ihave a 2009 a4 non quattro, about a week ago i got an alert saying switch engine off and check oil level. ive scoured the forum and cant find any actual answers to how to solve this problem. ive changed the oil twice, new filters, and installed a new brown and blue sensor. the warning only comes up when the car has reached operating 1uR8ol.
