Hi everyone. I currently own a 2014 Mazda 6 Touring w/ 68k miles. I bought new in 2013. I've serviced it every 5-6k miles. So far I've had to change a transmission sensor that lets the vehicle know it's on park. It wouldn't turn off. And now I have a check engine light on and my engine started to shake occasionally.
I don't have the technical knowledge to tell you how a problem with the brake vacuum pump is caused by failure of the turbo. But a turbo could fail by 66,000 miles, particularly if the engine has been routinely switched off when the turbo was red hot and this coked up the oil feed to the turbo bearing.
